City Of Waltham Scholarship

City of Waltham

Scholarship

The City of Waltham established a scholarship fund in 1987 to provide financial assistance to eligible Waltham residents for the pursuit of further education.  The fund is available to any Waltham resident for college, trade school, certificate programs, graduate school and other educational pursuits deemed eligible by the committee.

Resident applications are available at the Treasurer’s Office and online. Graduating seniors use the generic application available in the Guidance department at Waltham High School.

A committee reviews the applications and awards are announced in June and distributed at the beginning of the spring semester.

Contributions to the fund are made through a check-off included with the City’s annual excise and quarterly tax payments.
