Waltham's Newest Firefighters Ready to Join Frontline Forces

The Waltham Fire Department announces the graduation of four new Waltham Firefighters from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy (MFA) in Stow, MA as members of class #195.  Ronald Gautreau, Michael Mahoney, Sean McGurrin and Daniel Veduccio all completed their 12 week MFA training earning Firefighter I/II certifications.  They also previously completed first responder training through the WFD.

Gautreau, 26 and son of the late Waltham Firefighter Ron Gautreau, will be assigned to Moody Street Station Group 4.  Mahoney, 33 and son of retired Deputy Chief Stephen Mahoney, will be assigned to Moody Street Station Group 3.  McGurrin, 23, will be assigned to Moody Street Station Group 2.  Veduccio, 32, will be assigned to Moody Street Station Group 1.
