Baseball fields are the home fields for Waltham Baseball League running programs spring/summer/fall months.  Facility improvements completed in 2000 - 2001. Little League Representatives constructed handicap accessible viewing area in 2005. New Water Spray Park added in 2008.  Additional renovations planned for 2012.

Regional community park of natural woodlands with over 250 acres of undeveloped land.  Park includes picnic sites, walking trails and scenic vistas of Boston's skyline and mountains in the west.  Base area includes: Recreation Office, former Ski Lodge Building, picnic area and children's playground.  Prospect Hill Park Advocacy Group established in 1993 in support of protecting the environment.  A 10 year master plan developed for PHP in 1998.  Ongoing improvements are currently underway with continued improvements proposed for years to come.  The addition of a “Comfort Station” is planned for 2012/2013

Waltham's newly  opened (6) multi use fields with parking for 250 vehicles.  (4) synthetic turf fields opened in the fall of 2005 with (2) natural softball fields opened late summer 2006.  Fields utilized primarily by Waltham High School athletic teams, Waltham Youth Soccer Association, and other sport organizations.  A Field House building was constructed at the site opening in 2008.

Leased from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts's DCR (Department of Conservation and Recreation) Veterans Memorial Rink is open Mid September through Mid April. Ice is utilized Waltham High School , local youth hockey association, Bentley University, and local adult hockey groups, and other private organizations. Public Skating and Stick and Puck hours are scheduled throughout the winter months.
