Notice to Contractors, Homeowners and Developers:

Anyone issued a permit for a water service repair/relay, sewer service repair/relay, drainage system repair/relay, dry wells, manholes, taps to water mains or gate valves must contact:

For inspection prior to any backfill

48 Hour Notice is required for an inspection of permitted work on the water/sewer/drain system.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:  NO ONE IS AUTHORIZED TO CONTROL OR OPEN THE WALTHAM WATER  & SEWER SYSTEM EXCEPT CITY PERSONNEL! THIS INCLUDES HYDRANTS, CURB BOXES, GATE VALVES, AND MANHOLES.
