The City of Waltham's Municipal Election is coming up on Tuesday, November 7th! Here's everything you need to know:

This year the City of Waltham is holding a Municipal Election on Tuesday, November 7th for the purpose of electing the following:

  • Mayor (elect 1)
  • Councillors-at-Large (elect 6)
  • Ward Councillors (elect 9)
  • School Committee members (elect 3/6)

A Preliminary Election was held on September 12, 2023 to narrow down the field of Mayor to 2 candidates, Councillor for W3 down to 2 candidates, and Councillors at-large down to 12 candidates. You can see the Official Preliminary Election results here. The last day to register to vote in the Municipal Election on November 7th will be October 28th, 2023. In-person voter registration will be held on October 28, 2023 at the Rosario Malone Archive and Records Center at 260 Grove Street, Waltham from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
 

How can I cast my vote?
There are three ways you can cast your vote in this year's Municipal Election:

  • Vote Early In-Person
    In-person Early Voting will be offered to registered Waltham voters October 28th - October 30th, 2023 at 260 Grove Street. See the early voting schedule here
     
  • Vote By Mail
    Registered Waltham voters have the option to request a Vote by Mail ballot. You can do so by mail or online. The Last day to request a vote by mail ballot is October 31st, 2023 by 5:00pm.
