Dear Resident,

The MWRA is scheduled to finish night construction hours at the end of this week Thursday, July 20th, 2023. There will be a shift from night construction hours to day construction hours starting Monday, July 24th, 2023.

Please be advised Lexington Street between Lake Street and Totten Pond Road will be closed for southbound travel and northbound traffic will be open for travel starting Monday, July 24th, 2023. The work hours during this shutdown will be as follows:

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Please note that there may be days where the work will extend beyond 5:00 PM due to unforeseen delays above or below ground.
• Please note that this work is weather dependent and any inclement weather during the week may cause the work to be rescheduled for crews to work Friday
• Travelers who need access to the YMCA or Waltham High School/Kennedy will be able to access those properties from either direction on Lexington St, south and northbound.
Lexington Street will re‐open at 7:00 PM after each workday. There is no work scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays. Please see the attachment below for a proposed traffic detour that will be in place during the effective hours of work.
