SNOW EMERGENCIES & PARKING BANS
A "Snow Emergency / Parking Ban" may be declared in Waltham when significant snowfall is expected. As of now, one hasn't yet been declared. When a Snow Emergency / Parking Ban is in effect, there is NO on street parking. All vehicles must be removed from all roadways or they are subject to tow. Residents may park in School & municipal parking lots during parking bans, however when the ban is lifted, vehicles must be removed from School lots within 2 hours and Municipal lots within 24 hours. Snow Emergencies / Parking Bans will be communicated through our CodeRED system & to our Winter Weather Alert Center.
