MDPH Updates COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine Guidelines
On August 15th, 2022, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) updated its COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine guidance as a result of recent updates to guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The updated guidance still requires a minimum of a 5-day isolation period for individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19, regardless of vaccination status, and removes the quarantine requirement for individuals who have been exposed while requiring them to mask for 10 days and test on Day 6 following an exposure.
