Waltham's Preliminary Election is coming up on September 12, 2023. Here's some key things to make note of:

Overview:
The City of Waltham is holding an election for the purpose of electing the following:

• Mayor (elect 1)
• Councillors-at-Large (elect 6)
• Ward Councillors (elect 9)

The Preliminary Election will be held to narrow down the field of Mayor to 2 candidates, Councillor for W3 down to 2 candidates, and Councillors at-large down to 12 candidates. See a list of candidates here

Early Voting:
Registered Waltham voters may vote PRIOR to the September 12, 2023 Primary. In-person early voting will be offered THIS SATURDAY, September 2nd, at 260 Grove Street from 9am-5pm. In-person voter registration will also take place at this time.

Voting by Mail:
Vote by Mail applications are still available & are being sent out to those who've requested one. To request your Vote by Mail ballot, you can do so by mail or online. The deadline to request vote by mail ballots is September 5th, 2023 by 5pm.
