Waltham Community Electricity is an electricity program offered by the City of Waltham to provide residents and small businesses with City-vetted options for electricity supply.

The program offers a more stable price compared to Eversource’s supply, called Basic Service. Basic Service rates for residents and small businesses change every six months, whereas the Waltham Community Electricity (Waltham- CEA) Program rates are fixed until December 2023. The program also offers expanded choice and access to four electricity supply products that are open to any program participant and you can leave the program at any time, without penalty.
