This year, the City of Waltham is holding an election for the purpose of electing the following:

- Mayor
(elect 1) - Councillors At-Large
(elect 6) - Ward Councillors
(elect 9) - School Committee Members
(elect 3/6)
A Preliminary Election will be held on September 12, 2023 to narrow down the field of candidates for Mayor from 3 to 2, Councillor for W3 from 3 to 2 candidates, and Councillors At-Large from 13 to 12 candidates. A Municipal Election will follow on November 7, 2023.
The last day to register to vote in the Preliminary Election is Saturday, September 2, 2023. Vote by Mail applications are also now available.
Lastly, In-Person Voting for the Preliminary Election will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 260 Grove Street from 9am-5pm. See the full 2023 Election details here
