This year, Mayor McCarthy and the Waltham Fire Department invite you to TWO holiday events at the Waltham Common!

1. Santa & Mrs. Claus Parade - Saturday, November 27th at 12:00pm - The parade starts at the Waltham Common. The Fire Department will be escorting Santa & Mrs Claus through the city. 2. Holiday Lighting on the Waltham Common - Saturday, November 27th at 6:00pm - The Waltham High Show Choirs will get everyone in the holiday spirit performing some holiday classics! Hot chocolate will be provided by the Salvation Army. After the tree lighting, Santa will be available for pictures outside in the Gazebo. Parents - bring your cameras! Santa's Mailbox (provided by the Waltham Women's Club) will also be on the Common for children to leave their letters to Santa during the holiday season. Deadline to submit letters is Friday, December 10th, to ensure a response from Santa before Christmas. Be sure to leave a return address on each child's letter.
