The reduction of plastic bag ordinance is now IN EFFECT in Waltham

In effort to reduce environmental pollution and conserve resources, implementation of the City of Waltham Ordinance regarding the reduction of plastic bags has taken effect as of June 25th, 2022. Any money collected from the bags is retained by the retail establishments, not the City.
