The installation of a new stop sign on Prentice Street at the intersection with Plympton & Irving St went into effect today!

On Friday June 17th, the City of Waltham installed a new stop sign on Prentice Street northbound at the intersection with Plympton Street and Irving Street, as recently approved by Traffic Commission.
This five way intersection is now an All Way Stop, so vehicles approaching from any direction need to come to a complete stop and then safely proceed through the intersection when it’s your turn. This is another important step in our efforts to continuously improve safety on our streets.
