Looking for some weekend fun? Here's a list of all the fun things happening in Waltham!
  • Celebrate the end of summer with a party on the Waltham Public Library front lawn! Stop by this Saturday, August 20th between 10AM-1PM for music, games, bubbles, bouncing & sweet treats. Bouncy houses will be open all day! https://www.city.waltham.ma.us/home/events/124576
     
  • Join Waltham Fields Community Farm for family yoga Saturday morning! This session is designed for practitioners of all ages and levels, from beginner to advanced. All are welcome! https://communityfarms.org/calendar/event/family-yoga-on-the-farm-2022Aug
     
  • Join us this Saturday afternoon, August 20th for the 1st annual Moody Street Car Show! A large variety of classic vehicles will be on site. Free fun for the whole family! *Note - The car show is currently FULL & no more will be admitted into the event.
     
  • Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and join us for the Mayor's annual free Doo Wop concert Saturday night, 5-9pm! The 4 groups playing (in order) will be: Classic Groove, Lee Lewis, The Reminisants & The Marvelettes. Joe's Cannoli's and an ice cream truck will be available for purchase on site. Come join us for a fun night of good music and dancing!
     
  • Have any hazardous waste to get rid of, such as paint, oil, pesticides, etc? Sign up for the next collection date of the season, this Saturday, August 20th! Bring proof of Waltham residency.   • A free Diaper Depot will be held at Christ Church on Saturday from 10-11:30am for all in need: https://www.city.waltham.ma.us/home/events/125201
     
  • A car wash fundraiser for Waltham cheerleading will be held at Government Center on Saturday - Come get a wash & show your support!
     
  • Join us this Saturday for the weekly Waltham Farmer's Market! The market will be open every Saturday through October from 9:30am-2pm in Embassy Parking Lot (234 Moody St). See here for the list of items that will be available: https://walthamfarmersmarket.org/vendors/august-20/
