Holiday Disposal Options

The City of Waltham provides curbside pick-up of Christmas trees for 3 WEEKS following Christmas Day. Trees must be placed curbside BEFORE JANUARY 20TH, 2019. The City of Waltham will also be providing drop-off locations for residents to place their Christmas trees as a secondary option:

  • NIPPER MAHER PARK (65 Dartmouth Street, South St Entrance)
  • CORNELIA WARREN FIELD (210 Waverley Oaks Rd)

Remember to remove all lights, ornaments, plastic bags and stands. No wreaths that contain metal rims. You can call Public Works at 781-314-3855 to report a missed pick-up.

 

WHAT CAN I RECYCLE?

  • Have some holiday boxes to get rid of? Simply break down boxes and put them in your recycling cart with the lid fully closed. Large quantities of cardboard can be dropped off in the dumpster in the Public Works Yard at 165 Lexington St.
  • Absolutely no styrofoam or plastic bags of any kind should be put in your recycling cart
  • No electronics of any kind in your recycling cart
  • Please throw any ribbons, bows, or bubble wrap into your trash bins.
