Here's an early heads up on the schedule in Waltham for the New Year's Day holiday on Sunday, January 1st

This year the New Year's holiday will be observed on Monday, January 2nd. The schedule will go as follows:

• All Waltham City offices and the Waltham Public Library & the Waltham Public Schools will be CLOSED Monday, January 2nd

• Trash & Recycling pick-up will remain ON SCHEDULE next week with no delays. Put carts & barrels out on your regularly scheduled pick-up day.

• Parking will be free at all pay stations Monday, January 2nd.
