This Drainage Project will fix a long standing drainage issues from Lowell/Brown to Lowell/Alder by replacing the crushed storm drain and adding new and clean existing catch basins. This will improve water drainage from the street to the new drainage pipe that will be installed.

Here's the project timeline: 4 to 6 weeks

• 7/8: Communication Project Flyers (650 English/Spanish) were be placed at doors from Brown to Alder on Lowell Ave
• 7/9: Mobilization and Set Up will be Lowell and Ash – No Parking and Detour Signs in place
• 7/13: Project Starts - Hours of Operation: 7 am to 4 pm
• 7/13 – 8/21: Project Timeline 4 to 6 weeks

During the project, you can expect the following activities:

• Detour will be in place please see the maps attached
• Cutting and Excavation of the trench for drainage pipe installation (see attached maps) 
• Installation of new catch basins to help with water collection and drainage
• Dust mitigation - the trench will be back filled, and a temporary cap will be installed daily

• Lowell St will be temporary closed (Ash-Brown) - closed streets will be open to residents, and trash pick up will be picked-up on its normal schedule
