This FREE program offers interested Waltham citizens a behind the scenes look at our local police department. In a combination of both classroom and hands on instruction, you will learn about all the inner workings of police work like patrol procedures, narcotics & domestic violence investigations, police field exercises and firearms training, E911 and use of Force / De-escalation procedures, and much more. You will also have the opportunity to do a ride along with a police officer! This is such a great way to get to know and interact with your local officers, all while continuing to build the transparency and trust with our Police Department.
