An update regarding trash & recycling pick-up from last week:

Due to the storm this past Friday, EZ Disposal and Recycling was unable to complete their Thursday/Friday pick-up routes. The company initially informed us they would be completing both Thursday & Friday’s routes on Saturday, February 26th however, doing two routes in one day is a large task (especially post snow storm) so they decided to collect as much as they could on Thursday for anyone who many have missed the delayed pick-up message. Their plan was to gather as many as they could on Thursday and continue to complete Thursday’s route on Saturday (along with Friday's route), as planned. Unfortunately, two of their trucks broke down, and as a result, they were unable to complete the routes.

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Our Public Works Department is working with EZ Disposal and our city employees will be going out tomorrow to complete as much of the missed routes as they can. If you had a missed Thursday pick-up last week, please leave your carts and barrels out tomorrow. If they are not picked-up tomorrow, please bring them out on your regularly scheduled day.

Please be patient and understand we’re all doing our best given the resources we have available. Thank you.
