Meet Your Public Safety Professionals @ Prospect Hill Park!
Please join us on August 27th at the Prospect Hill Park, 314 Totten Pond Rd, from 11am-2pm to ‘Meet Your Public Safety Professionals’, a community event held in partnership with Boston Properties.
Members from the Waltham Police Department, Waltham Fire Department, Emergency Telecommunications Dispatch Center and Armstrong Ambulance will be on hand to engage with the public, answer questions and provide access to public safety equipment, including police motorcycles, police bicycles, police cruisers, firetrucks and ambulances. The WPD Drone unit will be giving a demonstration and you’ll have a chance to meet Waltham PD K-9 Officer Connarton and his four-legged partner, Hondo.
Additionally, children in attendance will be given the opportunity to enter a raffle to win free bicycles (supplied limited)! Winners of the raffle and others will also be given free bicycle helmets thanks to the generosity of law firm Breakstone, White & Gluck.
The Prospect Hill Park has been recently renovated and includes a waterpark, carnival rides, green space, a playground and more!
Clear your calendars, come on down and make room for pizza and ice cream. We cannot wait to see everyone on August 27th!
Parking is available across the street at the skating rink as well as free shuttle service from the Boston Properties Garage behind 10 City Point (behind Ruth’s Chris restaurant). The shuttle will bring you to and from the event.
