PLAN AHEAD - Planned power outage for Piety Corner upgrades

FYI regarding the planned Piety Corner power outage: The city was notified by Eversource that they did not conduct these upgrades due to unforeseen circumstances. The planned outage has now been MOVED TO FRIDAY, August 19th beginning at midnight and continuing through the same hours (roughly through ~8am). This work is part of a necessary Piety Corner upgrade and the outage will affect Bacon St, Worcester Lane, and Piety Corner area.

As a reminder, Eversource is conducting these upgrades and are responsible for notifying those in impact area. Customers should have gotten a notice if they will be impacted (if you did not receive one, you may not be in Eversource’s impacted area).
