Waltham rolls out a Municipal Electricity Aggregation Plan!

On April 17th, 2018, the Waltham City Council listened to a presentation on municipal electricity aggregation given by The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and Good Energy, LP, the national and Massachusetts leader in Community Electricity Aggregation, and voted to develop and implement a municipal electricity aggregation plan in accordance with MGL chapter 164, § 134(a).

The final aggregation plan will be introduced to the Community & City Council in the weeks ahead. Waltham residents will have the opportunity to review and comment on the municipal electricity aggregation plan. A number of Community public meetings will also be held when residents will meet the Consultant and will be able to ask questions about the plan. See more in the attached press release:
