The Waltham Water & Sewer Department is looking for volunteers for its Mass Department of Environmental Protection yearly Lead & Copper Testing

The City tests 15 homes per year and we are currently looking for more volunteers for the program. The requirement to be a volunteer is you have to be a single family home with a Lead Gooseneck or Pigtail. If you are not sure, the Water Department will look it up if you decide to volunteer for the program. Although we only need 15 homes for testing we are also looking to build an alternate list of homes if needed so the more the better. We will be accepting volunteers until February 7th, 2020.

The testing is done during the first full week of September. If you have any questions please call Gerard Shaughnessy Water & Sewer Superintendent at 781-314-3836. Thank you in advance for volunteering.
