Here is the schedule in Waltham during Independence Day on July 4th 2017:

Trash & Recycling Pick-up: There will be no Trash & Recycling pick-up on Tuesday, 7/04. Pick-up will be DELAYED 1 DAY the rest of the week. Place Recycling & Trash out 1 day after your regularly scheduled pick-up day.

Closures: All city offices, Waltham Public Schools & the Waltham Public Library will be CLOSED on Tuesday, 7/04.

Parking: Parking will be FREE at all meters and pay stations during the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, 7/04.

City Meetings: The next meeting of the Waltham City Council will be held on MONDAY, JULY 31ST.

Events: The Waltham Celebration Committee and Mayor Jeannette A. McCarthy are pleased to announce that they will be hosting TWO events for this year’s 4th of July Celebration. 

On Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 10:00am - 2:00pm at Prospect Hill Park there will be a family event featuring free children's inflatables, mini golf, Kilted Colin show at 10:00am, Animal Adventures from 11:00am-1:00pm, music, trolley rides, food, and much more! 

That evening at Leary Field, Back in Time will be performing at 5:30pm followed by fireworks at 9:30pm.
