Save the date for the Annual Holiday Lighting on the Waltham Common!

Mayor Jeannette A. McCarthy and the Waltham Celebration Committee invite you to the Waltham Common for the City’s Annual Holiday Lighting. This year’s event will be held on Friday, November 23rd. 

At 5:30pm, the Waltham American Legion Band Brass Quartet will play. At 6:00pm, the Waltham High School Show Choirs will get everyone in the holiday spirit with performing some holiday classics! 

After the Waltham Common is lit up, there will be a special appearance by Santa!

Parents make sure to bring your cameras to take your child’s photo on Santa’s lap in City Hall after the holiday season is kicked off on the Common. 

Santa’s Mailbox (Provided by the Waltham Women’s Club) will also be set up on the Common for children to leave their letters to Santa during the holiday season. Deadline to submit letters is Sunday, December 16th, to ensure a response from Santa before Christmas.  (Be sure to leave a return address on each child’s letter).
