An easier way to find Electric Car Charging Stations near you!

Did you know the City recently installed 2 Electric car charging stations at both the Crescent Street and Walnut Street Parking lots? (http://bit.ly/WalthamParking)

Charging stations are located at parking spaces 258 and 259 in the Crescent street lot and spaces 174 and 175 in the Walnut street lot. ONLY electric vehicles can park in these spaces. Any non-electric vehicles that park here are subject to a $50 fine.

There is no charge to use these, however, you will still need to pay the usual rate to park in both of these lots (max time of 2 hours = $1 for parking). As a reminder, you now have the option to pay to park using our new “Pay by Phone” mobile app: bit.ly/paybyphonewaltham. The car charging stations have a 2 hour limit. Any cars remaining in these spaces after the 2 hour mark are subject to ticketing.
