$5,000 REWARD now being offered for any info. regarding the unprovoked, random assaults at various locations in our city

Since November 10th, the City of Waltham has experienced a total of 10 unprovoked, random assaults at various locations in our city. The person responsible for these crimes appears to be lying in wait and attacking victims by surprise. The earliest attack occurred at 5:30pm and the latest being at 11:30pm. Initially these attacks occurred within Garden Crest apartment complex in our city, but recent attacks have now been reported in the downtown areas of Chestnut & Charles Streets. Below is a list of the attack locations:

  • Middlesex Road (Gardencrest)
  • Middlesex Road (Gardencrest)
  • Chestnut Street @ Lowell Street
  • Charles Street @ Prospect Street
  • Charles Street area
  • Charles Street area
  • Hall Street (anonymous tip/unconfirmed)
  • Chestnut Street

Residents should remain aware of their surroundings, especially when out after dark. The WPD are using all means necessary to bring these cases to an end as quickly as possible.
