Church St parking lot closes at 3pm to begin parking lot reconstruction

HEADS UP - The City of Waltham will be reconstructing the Church Street Parking Lot, located at the corner of Main Street and Church Street. The work will include new pavement and a new sidewalk on the Church Street side. The existing individual coin parking meters will be removed and a new parking pay station, capable of accepting coins, dollar bills, or credit cards, will be installed. New lights will be added to the lot, improving the illumination at night.

The parking lot will be completely CLOSED at 3:00pm on Tuesday, November 6th. All cars must be removed from the lot by that time. We expect that the lot will remain closed for about one month, for the duration of the reconstruction.
