How long does it take once my application is filed?

Hearings for the ZBA are scheduled as cases are filed, on first come basis.  Under state law, the ZBA is required to give notice, through mailings and advertising of legal notices, two weeks before the scheduled public hearing.  The ZBA is also required to hear and decide cases within a certain timeframe depending on the type of application or petition filed.  Once a case is heard and decided there is a mandatory appeal period.
