The City of Waltham’s Taxation Fund Committee is offering tax assistance by defraying the real estate taxes of low income elderly or low income disabled residents who meet the established guidelines. Applications are available from July 1stthrough November 5th 2011. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the greatest need
Thanks to the many contributors to the Elderly and Disabled Taxation Fund, the committee has granted relief for three disabled taxpayers’ on their 2011 Real Estate taxes. Donations can be made by checking off the donation box on the return envelope located inside your Real Estate Tax bill. Applications and eligibility requirements are available at the Senior Center located at 488 Main Street or the Assessors Office at City Hall, 610 Main Street 781 314 3200.
