Stonehurst, the Robert Treat Paine Estate, owned by the City of Waltham, Massachusetts, is one of the city's historical, landscape, and architectural treasures and a source of great civic pride. This is the only historic house created in the collaboration between architect Henry Hobson Richardson and landscape architect Fredrick Law Olmsted that is open to the public. It is our mission that a diverse audience will enjoy, appreciate and learn about the significance of Stonehurst and those who created it.
