Freecycle.org

Freecycle.org is a network made up of many local groups in which participants can connect and communicate with other people looking to give and to get used electronics, furniture, etc. EVERYTHING must be free.  The worldwide effort of Freecycle is keeping around 300 tons of garbage from entering landfills daily!

 Go to www.freecycle.org, search for you city (Newton is recommended since it has a well established chain). You must then register as a user. Once registered you can post items by signing in and clicking "post." You will be asked to enter information about the item you wish to donate then you will receive confirmation once your post is complete. You can also choose to receive an item from the list in your registered area.
