Recycle More with 35 Gallon Recycling Barrels
Residents may now purchase, from private retailers, 35 gallon barrels for their curbside recyclables. Residents must clearly mark their barrels "Recycling Only". Stickers are available at the Recycling Department at no charge. The recycling truck will not pick up recycling containers larger than 35 gallons or that weigh more than 50lbs.
You can purchase a recycling bin for $6 at the Recycling Department on Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The Recycling Department is located in the Municipal Center Building, 165 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA.
Recycling bins come in blue or grey. Bin color is determined by street address. If you are unsure of what color bin you need, call the Recycling Department at 781-314-3390.
