License Commissioner
Responsibilities: The City of Waltham is currently accepting resumes/applications for a License Commissioner. The License Commission's primary functions are issuance of licenses for the sale of alcoholic beverages and the conduct of hearings on violations of liquor laws. The commission is also responsible for coin-operated amusement device licenses, entertainment licenses, common victualers licenses and one-day alcohol permits. The License Commission is a three person Board. Commission meetings are held in 4th Tuesday of every month at Government Center, 119 School Street, Public Meeting Room.
All applicants must be a resident of the City of Waltham and must comply with Massachusetts Conflict of Interest laws.
Salary: $3,300.00 per year.
