Waltham Veterans Services donates "Veterans: Heroes in Our Neighborhood" books to Waltham Public Schools
Following the 2015 Veterans Day Services on Waltham Common, the Waltham Veterans Services donated the book "Veterans: The Heroes in Our Neighborhood" to each one of Waltham's Elementary Schools. Per a review, this is "an engaging rhyming picture book for readers of all ages that fosters mindfulness of and appreciation for the brave service men and women who are also our family, friends, and neighbors. These are the men and women who bravely served our great country and now humbly serve in our communities."
The book is available for children to check out in their schools' Library.
