Waltham announces a new Trash Collector/Hauler!

THE CITY OF WALTHAM ANNOUNCES A NEW TRASH COLLECTOR/HAULER!

You may start seeing some new trash trucks around Waltham - Beginning today, January 3rd, 2017 “EZ Disposal” will be the new trash collector/hauler for the City of Waltham. At this time there are no major changes to how recycling or trash will be picked up and we do not see any changes in the near future. THINGS TO CONSIDER THIS WEEK:
- Due to the New Year’s holiday, Trash & Recycling pick up is delayed one day this entire week (1/03/17-1/07/17). Please place your bins on your curbside 1 day after your regularly scheduled pick up day.

- Our Public Works Department is continuing the collection of Christmas trees. Trees will be collected for 3 weeks following Christmas day. You have the option of using our provided curbside collection or one of our three drop off locations. Christmas trees must be placed curbside BEFORE January 20th, 2017. The alternative drop off locations are the following:

1. Nipper Maher Park - 65 Dartmouth Street (South St entrance)
2. Elsie Turner Field - 421 Trapelo Road
3. Graverson Playground - 16 Pine Vale Road (off Trapelo Road)

Please remember to remove all lights, ornaments, plastic bags and stands. No wreaths that contain metal rims.
