Mayor's FY-2016 Recommended Budget Now Available

The Mayor’s recommended FY-2016 budget is on the Auditor’s website (see link below). There are 29 program budgets.

-The City of Waltham has three branches of government: the City Council (Legislative), the Mayor (Executive), and the School Committee (Education).

-The City Council has direct charge of the City Clerk’s Office and the City Council itself.

-The School Committee and Superintendent have charge of the schools.

-The remainder of the departments with the exception of the Traffic Commission either report directly or indirectly to the Mayor.

-The contact information for all departments are on the website.

-The City Council’s budget hearings are scheduled for June 2^nd at City Hall.
