Mayor McCarthy invites you to Waltham's Annual Holiday Lighting on November 27th!

Mayor Jeannette A. McCarthy invites you to Waltham's Annual Holiday Lighting! 

This year’s event will be held on Friday, November 27th at 6:00pm on Waltham Common (610 Main Street). The Salvation Army will be on the Common providing refreshments and the Waltham High School show choirs will be on hand to get everyone in the holiday spirit with performing some holiday classics! 

"Santa’s mailbox" (Provided by the Waltham Women’s Club) will be set up in the gazebo on Waltham Common the night of the tree lighting as well. Please be sure to tell everyone with young children to mail their letters to Santa! They will even get a letter back from the NorthPole!! Letters must be mailed before the DEADLINE OF DECEMBER 19TH. Don't forget to put your return address!

After the Waltham Common is lit up, there will be a special appearance by Santa!

Parents - make sure to bring your cameras to take your child’s photo on Santa’s lap in City Hall after the holiday season is kicked off on the Common!
