Water & Ice Rescue

Our city has many waterways that lie next to heavily traveled areas.  At times people and animals get in trouble either in the water or on the ice in the winter. Our Department maintains three boats and ice sleds to handle such situations.  We also wear special cold water survival suits when operating in ice or cold water conditions to prevent our members from getting hypothermia.
