A Community Preservation Act (CPA) Pub= lic Meeting will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 7:00PM in the City Council Chambers. =

A mandatory annual organizational meet= ing for the election of officers will be conducted immediately. =

A presentation from the Community Preservation Coalition will follow to = update the Members of the Waltham community Preservation Committee as to the statewide success of the CPA programs. All Waltham Department Heads, City Councilors, Mayor, and the public are invited to attend. About one hour is planned for this portion of the meeting.

= Public Hearing. Input from City Officials, the public = and all concerned parties are invited to give their input on matters pertinent = to the Community Preservation Committee in person at 8:15 PM. The allowed time for speaking will be determined by the number of speakers. As is the practice of the CPC, information may also be sent prior= to the Hearing by telephone, FAX, visitation, or electronic mail (Email) and briefly summarized in person. Matters received in a timely fashion may<= /b> be acknowledged or presented to the CPC for its consideration. It is the inten= tion of the CPC to adopt the existing PLAN for FY 2010 after its review of possi= ble changes.

The Public Meeting will be continued after the hearing as new and old business allows. Applicants and officials wi= ll be invited for testimony as needed.
